Labels

This quote uses labels to indicate the lines each character delivers.

Labels provide visual context for quotes without being part of the dialogue itself. They are primarily used to identify speakers in dialogue or denote specific sections of a song.

Labels appear greyed-out in the left margin of the quote and are not typed by the player.

Adding Labels to Quote Submissions

For easier editing, labels are automatically assigned unique colors. Note that any white space after the colon is ignored.

To add a label, insert []: at the beginning of a line and place the label content inside the brackets. In the example above, the first line of the quote submission text box would look like this:

[Mai]:Yeah, who are you angry at, Zuko?⏎

Appropriate Usage of Labels

Labels are required for ranked quotes that contain dialogue between two or more characters.
